What It’s All About…  

Even though spices are dried, I believe they should be as recently dried as possible! It makes everything ‘pop’ when you cook with them : )
I search far and wide for the best suppliers, who bring the best quality, from the regions of the world where they grow best. It’s a game-changer in your dishes when your spices are either freshly ground, or, you are crushing/grinding them on the spot.
Yes, I’m a little obsessive about it…


I have a (very) small supply chain. No warehouses and definitely no delivery trucks (yet!). I keep inventory moving. Larger grocery store-type companies have production facilities, and warehouses, and, spices sitting in jars for months and even years. Definitely not my thing…


Cooking should be fun! Even if it’s just a simple dish to nourish yourself, there can be a sense of enjoyment you find in cooking, because you made something delicious!
As far as I’m concerned, it’s a ‘life skill’ that we can be always developing, and—super important—teaching to our kids!
