About 12 years ago, I had an opportunity to open the very first spice shop here in town (Prescott, AZ). I knew alot about spices and cooking, but not a thing about running a store. I learned lots from my partner in a very short period of time! Made lots of friends as we hung out in the shop talking ‘what’s for dinner’, and cooked endless dishes together in my classes.
They called me “the spice girl” (no, not one of those from the 90’s ; )
and we all had a ton of fun!

Well, partnerships end, and life changes. I started Mosaic Spices as mostly an online store a few years later…and life changed again.
Had to back away.

BUT… when the timing is right, it’s really right. Before I’m a “spice girl”, I’m God’s girl…and this was definitely HIS doing! So here I am again, circling back to what I seem to do well. I’m pretty obsessive about the difference high quality, and freshly dried, spices can make in your dishes. I work hard to source out the very best of them to bring to you! What makes it all even sweeter is that I love doing it!

In real life, you can find my spices, along with an eclectic collection of reimagined/repurposed furniture and other decor, my artwork, and lots of other fun things I find, in my booth inside The Marketplace on
Cortez St., in beautiful Prescott, AZ. Just off our famous “Square”.

(I sure wish they would invent Smell-a-Vision already so you could enjoy them… But trust me, they’re yum ; )
